POLKA DOT MANIA

This year, in interior design as in fashion, the polka dot is making a comeback, playing around with irregular effects, and more than once echoing the avant-garde work of Yayoi Kusama. With a focus on dots and polka dots, the works of the great Japanese contemporary artist are appreciated the world over. Her paintings, sculptures, and performances express her own existential questions concerning our place in the universe. We find a little of his signature in our leather inserts, and also in our Rêverie model, with its irregular forms. Zirconium oxides create precious polka dots, which we like to call "stardust" on account of how they breathe life into a design, with a little magic and a touch of feeling. Finally, polka dots are also showcased through our glittery patterned leather inserts.

As Jennifer Malecot, our creative manager at Les Georgettes, says, “we might consider wearing sequins all year round, even with jeans and sneakers. With sequins considered a holiday essential, there is no longer any question of reserving them for just a single evening. A simple way to inject a little magic into everyday life. As such, we pair sequins with a casual outfit, for example with our new Dentelle bag and our new jewellery from the Les Cadettes collection!

More upbeat, yet every bit as stylish as black, it naturally lends itself to the winter and Christmas season. To perfect brilliant tones and, of course, keep up with the trend, our new Collection experiments with different shades of purple in its creations, for example with its Orpheus/Pearlescent Purple and Chameleon/Metallic Purple leather inserts.
