TENDANCE MOTIFS FAIRE DANS LA DENTELLE

"Iron lacework" was Roland Barthes' nickname for the Eiffel Tower. "Brass lacework" would be an apt description of our jewellery. Inspired by the partitions typical of oriental architecture, our new collection focuses on the effects of lace and its use of light. These effects can be seen, for example, in the openwork of the DENTELLE ORIENTALE design, using the iconic Giraffe motif, as well as in the ARABESQUE design, with its golden curves and black grained leather. FABRIC TREND THE ART OF THE HANDMADE

The stretches of sand with their ridges and undulations are expressed in more hand-crafted relief models. This is the case, for example, with the NOMADE set, where the engravings have been done by hand. The attractive contrast between grained leather and textured metal echoes the curves of the desert. The Lapis Lazuli set, a natural stone renowned for its virtues, highlights the veins and irregularities of these natural landscapes. These lines are designed to be more authentic, to highlight the art of the handmade.

In reference to the desert, with its arid lands and shiny grains of sand, the jewellery and leather inserts in this collection come in shades of brown, ochre and gold. Camel, terracotta and bluish hues give rise to jewellery with warm, vibrant tones.
