What is Les Georgettes?

Les Georgettes is an innovative, registered and patented concept of customisable jewellery and accessories with interchangeable leather and fluid-perspex inserts. In just a few seconds, you can customise your jewellery or accessory to match your outfit, your handbag or your mood!

Where are Les Georgettes jewellery pieces made?

Our partner is France's largest jewellery manufacturer, and manufactures the majority of its jewellery in its workshops in the Ardèche region. In the heart of the so-called "jewellery valley" (vallée du bijou), 250 craftsmen create our jewellery pieces, true artists who are passionate about their craft, and whose exceptional expertise has been passed down from one generation to the next for more than a century. Each piece of jewellery is unique and imbued with this exceptional know-how.

Are the Les Georgettes workshops in France open to public tours?

Unfortunately, at the moment we don't offer guided tours of our workshops. However, if you're nearby, you can head to our outlet shop in Le Cheylard. This shop is  open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am-11.45am and 2.30pm and 6.45pm, and located at the following address: 6 Avenue de Saunier, 07160 Le Cheylard, France.

What if I can’t find the piece of jewellery I’m looking for on your website?

Our mission is to best satisfy our customers’ needs. However, if you do not find the jewellery piece you are looking for on the Les Georgettes website, it is possible that it is no longer in stock or that it has simply been discontinued.

What are your jewellery pieces and leather inserts made of?

We do everything within our power to create high-quality jewellery pieces for you, imbued with our French manufacturing know-how. Our jewellery pieces are made from brass and plated with gold, rose gold or silver rhodium. Our leather inserts are made from genuine cowhide, except for our glitter inserts, which are made from fabric.

What sizes do your pieces come in?

Les Georgettes bracelets for women are available in 2 sizes: Medium (Les Essentielles) and Large (Les Essentielles +). 

  • Size Medium bracelets (Les Essentielles) usually fit wrists measuring 14 to 16.5cm in circumference. These bracelets are available in 8mm, 14mm, 25mm and 40mm widths.
  • Size Large bracelets (Les Essentielles +) are adapted to larger wrists, measuring between 17 and 20cm in circumference. These bracelets are also available in 8mm, 14mm, 25mm and 40mm widths.

Rings: 

  • Our Les Essentielles rings are adjustable and are available in three sizes: Small (European ring size 50-52), Medium (European ring size 56-58), Large (European ring size 58-60)
  • Our Les Précieuses rings are not adjustable and are available in five sizes: 52, 54, 56, 58, 60

Why does my leather insert/jewellery piece look different from the picture shown online?

We work hard to provide you with the most accurate photos of our pieces as possible. For example, you may notice some subtle differences in shades of colour between what's shown on-screen and the actual leather insert you receive. All our leather inserts are made from authentic and genuine leather, making our jewellery pieces so unique.

Some fluid-perspex colours seem to look alike. Why is that?

It can seem this way as the material used for fluid-perspex has fewer colour shade options than leather. 

If you're not satisfied with the colour of the insert you've ordered, please contact our customer service team through our contact form to return your item and receive a refund.

Is my jewellery covered by guarantee?

In accordance with European legislation, Les Georgettes jewellery pieces come with a 2 year guarantee. Ageing, loss and breakage are not covered by this guarantee.

Our jewellery pieces are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity as well as the manufacturer guarantee. For further information on this, please refer to our General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

 

DELIVERY

How long does it take to receive my order?

Orders are prepared from Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Once your order has been confirmed by our warehouse, your parcel will be shipped within 48 hours. Once shipped, you can expect your parcel to arrive within 3 to 8 working days, depending on which delivery method you selected at checkout. 

Which countries do you deliver to?

We currently ship everywhere in Europe (including the UK) and to the USA.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard delivery (shipped in 2 working days) begins at €4,80.

  • Standard pick-up point delivery is FREE for all orders over 59€
  • Standard home delivery is FREE for all orders over 89€
  • Express pick-up point and home delivery is FREE for all orders over 129€

For deliveries outside the European Union, you are responsible for all applicable customs duties and tax levied by the country in question.

 

MY ORDERS

Can I change or cancel my order?

Orders placed through our website are processed fairly quickly. Therefore, as soon as you receive your order confirmation email, we're unable to change or cancel your order. However, in accordance with applicable regulations, you have a period of 30 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal.

How do I know if my order has been shipped?

As soon as your order has been shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email including a tracking number so you can follow your parcel's journey.

How can I track my order?

You can track your parcel on our delivery partner's website: Colissimo Tracking. Please note that you will only be able to track your order the day after you receive the tracking number by email.

Which payment methods do you accept?

On the Les Georgettes online store, you can pay for purchases with Visa, PayPal or Mastercard.

My payment has been declined. What should I do?

If your payment has been declined on our website, it could be because of one of these reasons: 

  • You've incorrectly typed your card details. If this is the case, please try again with the correct card details.
  • Your card may have a problem with your web browser. If this is the case, please try again with another web browser. 
  • Your card type is not accepted by our website
  • Your card is no longer valid
  • You may have insufficient funds on your card, or your bank has blocked this payment

If your problem is linked to the last 3 examples, please use a different payment method to order your items.

I did not receive all the items in my order. What should I do?

We're very sorry for this inconvenience. Our team works hard to avoid this type of problem. However, if you order has arrived incomplete, please contact our Customer Service team through our contact form. Don't forget to include your order number so they can help you out as quickly as possible!

One of the items I ordered is damaged or has a defect. What should I do?

We're very sorry for this inconvenience. Our team works hard to avoid this type of problem. If one of the items you ordered arrives damaged or has a defect, please contact our Customer Service team through our online contact form, including your order number - they'll be more than happy to help.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What is your return policy?

Returned items (excluding personalised items) can be:

  • exchanged: if your item is damaged only, subject to availability 
  • refunded within 30 days. Refunds are only made to the account of the person who made the payment. 

 For hygienic reasons, earrings will not be accepted for refunds or exchanges.

I would like to return my order. How can I do so?

If you would like to return your order, you have 30 days from the date of receipt of the delivery to request a refund.

Discounted items cannot be exchanged, only refunded. Any complaints about orders placed through our website should be addressed to our customer service team.

You can return your unused items in their original packaging to us at the following address:

Please don't forget to enclose your delivery slip or invoice and to include a note with your full name and address, as well as the reason for this exchange or refund.

Exchanges can only be made if the total of your new items is less than or equal to the total for the items exchanged because we are not able to receive any payment for orders outside of our website.

My jewellery is broken or damaged. What should I do?

If you bought your item from our online store, please contact our customer service team through our contact form. They will be happy to help you out!

How long do I have to return my order?

You can exercise your withdrawal right for thirty (30) days following receipt of goods.

Returning jewellery pieces are subject to the following conditions:

  • The purchase was made on the lesgeorgettes.com website
  • The jewellery must not have been worn and must be returned in its original packaging
  • Earrings cannot be returned to us for reasons of hygiene 

After receipt of your parcel, a manual check will be performed to confirm whether or not the product complies with our return policy.

How long does it take to get a refund?

After receipt of your parcel, we will check the condition of your jewellery and issue a refund within a maximum of 14 days.

Can I return an item purchased from the e-shop at a Les Georgettes store or retailer?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to return an item purchased on the Les Georgettes website at a Les Georgettes store or retailer. Likewise, it is impossible to return an item purchased in a shop or at a Les Georgettes retailer through the online store's customer service department.

 

MY ACCOUNT

How do I create an account?

To create an account, simply click on the symbol in the upper right corner of the website (in the shape of a little person). On this page, select the "Create account" tab, fill out all necessary fields and press "Create account" to confirm account creation. Or if you prefer, you can create an account when your ordering your items.

Why do I need to create an account?

By creating an account at Les Georgettes, you improve your shopping experience and help us process your order faster. It also allows you to view your order history, track your current order, update your newsletter subscription preferences and take advantage of exclusive offers.

How can I edit my account information?

To edit your account information, log in to your account and select "My Details". Here you can edit personal information such as your email address and phone number. If you're looking to update your postal address, just select "My Addresses" to add a new one.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

To reset your password, click "Forgot password?" on your account log in page and enter your email address. You'll soon receive in your inbox a link to reset your password (be sure to check your spam folder in case it ends up there).

I can’t login to my account. What should I do?

If you are unable to login to your account, please follow these steps:

  • Make sure you are using the same email address and password as you registered your account with 
  • If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot password?" link and enter your email address. We'll then send you a link via email to reset your password.

How can find my order invoice?

Once you log in to your account, you can find your order history and corresponding invoices. If this isn't the case, please send our team aa message via our online contact form. Please make sure to include the email address linked to your account and the order number you are looking for an invoice for, so that we can help you as quickly as possible.

How can I delete my account?

We're sorry to hear that you'd like to delete your account. If you're sure, please send a message to our customer service team through our contact form. Be sure to include your email linked to your account, so we can verify the authenticity of your request. 

 

WEBSITE

I am experiencing some technical problems. What should I do?

First, please try the following steps:

  • Make sure that your anti-virus or firewall is not blocking the transaction
  • Try placing an order using a different web browser and/or device
  • If this does not work, please make sure your browser has the latest update
  • Finally, delete the cookies from your browser and try to place your order again

If none of these steps help, please contact our Customer Service team via our online contact form. If possible, please include a screenshot of the issue, so they can help you as soon as possible.

What is the little heart symbol used for?

You can click the heart-shaped simple to add an item to your wish list. This way you can save items to a list to buy later or receive as a gift. To view the items in your wish list, just click on the heart in the upper right-hand corner of the website.

Can I pick up the items I bought online at one of your stores?

What are the opening hours of your stores?

Our different stores and authorised resellers have their own set opening hours. We would therefore advise you to contact them directly, to check opening times.

How do you join the We Are Georgettes Club?

If you do not have a customer account:
To join the We Are Georgettes Club, all you have to do is create your customer account online on our website lesgeorgettes.com.

If you are already a customer:

You will be able to join the programme directly from your online account.

You are a customer and receive our newsletters:
You are already part of the We Are Georgettes Club! You can check your level and points on your online account.

How do you earn points?

You earn points with every purchase made on our site. 1€ = 1 point. These points are valid for one year from the date of purchase and expire once this period has passed. Bonus points are awarded when registering for the newsletter for the first time. You can earn more by taking part in our surveys or consulting our newsletters. Depending on your number of points, your level may change.

When you reach Happy Level, you must earn 200 points to reach Passionate Level.

When you reach Passionate Level, you must accumulate 500 points to reach In Love Level.

When you reach the In Love Level, you maintain this level by continuing to accumulate points.

How do different club levels work?

You can check your level at any time directly from your customer account on our online site. In your profile, the Club section is displayed above the sections dedicated to your information, addresses, orders and favourites. Find all the advantages for each level by clicking here.

How do you claim an offer?

When you join the club, you benefit from offers and advantages specific to each level. If you receive a promotional code by email, you can use it on our site. You can choose to keep this code for yourself or give it to a friend. This promotional code is unique and can only be used once.
