1. STORING YOUR LES GEORGETTES JEWELLERY
Jewellery can be easily scratched just by not being stored correctly. The best way to protect your Les Georgettes jewellery is to store them in the individual gift boxes that the jewellery pieces come in.
When storing your Les Georgettes jewellery, remove the interchangeable leather or fluid-perspex band and place this flat somewhere in a shady, dry place. This will stop the coloured inserts from getting bent out of shape or damaging their colour.
For when you’re on-the-move, our Les Georgettes travel pouch is the perfect travelling companion. With separate sections for each of your jewellery pieces, you’ll avoid damaging your jewellery while taking them everywhere with you in one convenient pouch.
2. CLEANING YOUR LES GEORGETTES JEWELLERY
From time to time, your jewellery will need to be cleaned to retain their original sparkle and shine.
For your 100% metal jewellery pieces, you can simply polish your jewellery with the help of a soft, dry cloth.
For your jewellery set with cubic zirconia or Swarovski crystals, we recommend cleaning the stones once a year with a solution of soapy water, mixing together tepid water with a few drops of PH neutral soap. Employ this solution with the help of a soft-bristled brush (for example, a children’s toothbrush) to clean the jewellery before rinsing with tepid water, before drying and polishing with a soft, dry cloth.
Your interchangeable leather bands can be cleaned by gently rubbing with a leather cleansing milk. After waiting 10 minutes, polish the leather inserts with a soft-bristled brush.
3. PROTECTING YOUR LES GEORGETTES JEWELLERY
Everyday wear can take its toll on your jewellery. However, there are a few simple steps you can take to limit unnecessary damage to your jewellery pieces.
When storing your jewellery pieces inside your gift boxes, be sure to place them in a dry, shady spot, away from direct sunlight or humidity.
Asides from storage, when getting ready, put your jewellery on last! Chemicals such as those in perfume, make-up or hair products can damage the jewellery finish, so it’s best to put your jewellery on as the final finishing touch to your look.
Finally, be sure to remove your jewellery before going swimming, having a shower or when performing household cleaning tasks, such as washing the dishes. By avoiding contact with potentially damaging chemicals, you’ll prolong the life on your jewellery.
4. KNOWING WHEN TO CONTACT THE LES GEORGETTES TEAM
